The Bay Area Restaurant Collective is a nonprofit group of hospitality professionals who share a commitment to inspiring positive impact and evolution within the industry. Our events and programming are driven by the foundational belief that, together, all ships rise.

ABOUT BARC *

Three people smiling with microphones at a panel discussion.

Founder Amanda Flores established BARC in 2022 to create a support network for the community to share knowledge and resources through transparent conversations, panels, and educational seminars. In March 2025, BARC became a nonprofit organization to continue advancing the group’s mission to inspire industry-wide change that allows restaurants and those they employ to thrive. BARC members include leadership spanning hospitality groups, independent restaurants, and other Bay Area-based culinary experiences. From Michelin-level dining to beloved casual concepts, every member brings a distinct perspective and passion for the magic that happens when we come together in community.

Our work at BARC is possible because of our champions at Resy, Hostie, and branding and graphic design partner, Ray Studio.
